Strategic Expansion of Ethereum Holdings

SharpLink Gaming, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBET), a prominent player in the digital asset space, has announced the acquisition of an additional 143,593 Ethereum (ETH) for $667 million. This purchase brings the company's total ETH holdings to 740,760 ETH, valued at approximately $3.2 billion at current market prices.

Financing the Acquisition

To fund this acquisition, SharpLink raised a total of $537 million during the week ending August 15, 2025. This included $390 million through a registered direct offering and $146.5 million via its at-the-market (ATM) facility.

Commitment to Ethereum and Staking Rewards

Since implementing its treasury strategy on June 2, 2025, SharpLink has earned 1,388 ETH in staking rewards, actively participating as an Ethereum validator. The company has deployed nearly all of its ETH holdings in staking, including through liquid staking.

Future Outlook

SharpLink continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to Ethereum as a core component of its treasury strategy. With over $84 million in cash reserves remaining, the company is well-positioned to pursue further acquisitions of ETH, depending on market conditions.
